On 18 July President Bako Sahakyan visited the Artsakh Republic defense ministry and held a working consultation with the Defense Army supreme command staff.
Issues related to army building, the implementation of a range of tasks facing the armed forces were on the discussion agenda.
Recent visits to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh borderline, situation along the borders, reinforcement of the frontline, the dynamics of activities undertaken to improve the service conditions of servicemen were also summed up during the meeting.
Defense minister Levon Mnatsakanyan delivered a corresponding report.
The President underlined that army-building, raising combat readiness of the armed forces were and would remain among the pivotal issues the state faced, giving concrete instructions towards the proper solution of the issues under discussion.
