On 9 August President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan partook in the town of Shoushi at the closing ceremony of the first general camping of the scout movement "Sons of Artsakh".
The Head of the State rated positive the initiative of the "Hayk's Generation" organization to found a scout movement in Artsakh with the participation of youth from Armenia and Diaspora noting that it would favor patriotic upbringing of younger generation, further strengthening the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity and deepening ties between them.
Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Artsakh Republic ministers of education and science, culture and youth affairs, as well as other officials partook at the ceremony.
